Gibson’s Interview with Palin

The first part of the Gibson interview first part of the Gibson interview with Sarah Palin is very interesting, both rhetorically and for the content itself.

To what extent do these interviews put pressure on the Democratic ticket to do an equivalent set of interviews? Of course, one could certainly argue “no, we’ve already done that..Palin had to because she’s so new to the public.” However, that may not fly.

Regarding Gibson’s inexact “exact words,” there’s a useful article at Get Religion (a blog which focuses on encouraging journalistic professionalism in media coverage of religion).
