Organizing against Civility

At a Nevada rally on Sept. 17th, Obama said this to about 14,000 people:

“I need you to go out and talk to your friends and talk to your neighbors. I want you to talk to them whether they are independent or whether they are Republican. I want you to argue with them and get in their face.”

Can you smell it? It’s the stench of desperation!!! This false “Messiah” is having his mask removed bit by bit and his true self is being revealed. Thanks be to God!!!

I’m all for argument, you know. However, the “in your face” is actually contrary to argument and is just a bullying tactic.

That said, years ago, as I was slowly moving out of evangelicalism one of the things that drew me to the Catholic Church was a breadth built on top of a solid foundation that could, thus, provide room for civil argument.

While a politician may be deceptive, it is what is clearly visible, both in word and deed, that one must argue against.

Thanks for posting! I’d like to post more of my own opinion and less of just quoting others but I don’t want to do that until there are at least a few readers posting comments.
