TAC’s 2007 Petition

From Christian Campbell:

Laudetur Jesus Christus!

Now that the CDF has responded formally to each of the TAC bishops and vicars general, Archbishop Hepworth has released the full text of the October 2007 Portsmouth Letter, the Petition by which the Traditional Anglican Communion requested full, corporate communion with the Holy See:

In addition to being one of the immediate causes of the publication of the recent Apostolic Constitution, the Petition also makes clear the doctrinal stance of the TAC episcopate.

>> If you choose to publish the text, in whole or in part, kindly provide a link to The Anglo-Catholic. <<

Further official statements from the Archbishop Hepworth will be released via the site in the next few days.

Ad Jesum per Mariam,
Christian Campbell
Moderator of The Anglo-Catholic

I’ve put the text posted at the Anglo-Catholic into PDF format, for ease of printing.
