Hindsight on Lakeland/Bentley

At Charisma there is a article, with extensive comments, looking back on the Lakeland/Bentley affair. While I agree with Grady article, as far as it goes, for me the most troubling aspect of the whole matter was not Bentley, whom sensible folks would have distrusted long before the final fiasco. Rather, the reaction of folks like Bill Johnson was, for me, even more disturbing and confirms my skepticism about charismatic ecclesiology.

The article, and various folks comments, are on Charisma’s forum.

By the way, the first posting on my blog relating to this matter directly was
Projection and Vain Imagination
, from May 9th.
